  • Are you affected by the IR35?
    The IR35 legislation was introduced in 1999 and has been effective since April 2000. This legislation was introduced primarily to tackle the avoidance of payment of tax and National Insurance by contractors who were self employed but should actually have been taxed under the Pay As You Earn system. The IR35 contract is designed to differentiate between self employed contractors and employees who should be taxed under the PAYE system.
