By having a few minutes of peaceful, undisturbed time to yourself each day, you will notice that you are feeling lighter, happier, and more tolerant each day. There are many other tools and resources that can help you in your road to self improvement. You can try searching for books and CDs authored spiritual teachers willing to guide you. Watch movies and TV programs that inspire and uplift. Stay away from dramatic and violent episodes.
